Douglas City School District is a one-school district in Trinity County, California. The District encompasses 125 square miles of mountainous terrain with scattered residences, no industry, and only a handful of small businesses. The school employs seven certificated full-time teachers and four certificated part-time teachers; one full-time Special Education teacher; and a part-time teacher for P.E. An instructional assistant assists each classroom teacher. A technology aide, an art instructor, a music/dance instructor, a spanish instructor, bus drivers, a secretary, a business manager, a superintendent/principal, cooks, custodians, and a maintenance person support the instructional program.  We are proud to offer single grade level classrooms this year!

We are committed to the implementation of quality, research-based educational programs that will assist student learning, achievement, and self-worth.

Our school office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
